This website is operated by Country Bean Private Limited under the brand name “Brightverse”. Throughout the site, the terms “Brightverse,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Country Bean Private Limited doing business as Brightverse (also operating countrybean.in and brightverse.in). Brightverse offers this website—including all information, tools and services available from this site to you—conditioned upon your acceptance of the terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here.
By visiting our site and/or purchasing a personalised children’s storybook from us (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service (“Terms”), including any additional terms, conditions and policies referenced herein or made available by hyperlink. These Terms apply to all users of the site, including browsers, vendors, customers, merchants and contributors of content.
Please read these Terms carefully before using our website. If you do not agree to all the Terms, you may not access the website or use any Services.
Any new features or tools added to the current store are also subject to the Terms. You can review the most current version of the Terms at any time on this page. We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms by posting updates to our website. Your continued use of or access to the website following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc., which provides the e‑commerce platform allowing us to sell our products and services to you.
SECTION 1 – ONLINE STORE TERMS
- By purchasing a personalised book, you confirm that you are (a) at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence and the parent or legal guardian of the child featured in the book or (b) have obtained verifiable parental consent to provide the child’s name, likeness and other personal data.
- You represent that all photos, names and details supplied for personalisation are accurate, lawful, non‑infringing and suitable for inclusion in a children’s book.
- You may not use our products for any illegal or unauthorised purpose, nor may you violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including copyright). A breach of any Terms results in immediate termination of Services.
SECTION 2 – GENERAL CONDITIONS
We reserve the right to refuse Service to anyone at any time for any reason. You understand that non‑credit‑card content you submit may be transferred unencrypted and adapted to technical requirements. Credit‑card information is always encrypted in transit. You agree not to reproduce, duplicate or exploit any portion of the Service without our express written permission.
SECTION 3 – ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS & TIMELINESS
You are responsible for ensuring that the personalisation data (child’s name, spelling, photos, dedication, etc.) you supply is accurate and complete. We cannot be held liable for errors that originate from incorrect information provided by you.
SECTION 4 – MODIFICATIONS TO SERVICE & PRICES
Prices for our products are subject to change without notice. We may modify or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) without notice. We are not liable for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance.
SECTION 5 – PRODUCTS OR SERVICES (PERSONALISED STORYBOOKS)

Custom‑creation workflow
- Step 1 – Personalise: Choose a story, enter your child’s details and upload 1–3 clear photos.
- Step 2 – Preview: Our design team creates a digital preview and delivers it to you via WhatsApp or email within 2‑3 working days.
- Step 3 – Approval: You have seven (7) calendar days to approve or request edits. Your written “Approved” confirmation triggers printing.
- Step 4 – Print & Ship: Books are printed in hard‑cover format and normally dispatch within 5‑7 working days after design approval.
- 100 % Money‑Back Guarantee – If you are unhappy with the preview before approval, you may request a full refund—no questions asked. After you approve the preview, the order is considered “custom goods”; cancellations or returns are accepted only for manufacturing defects.
- Colours on screen may differ from print; minor variations do not constitute a defect.
- We reserve the right to limit sales by region or quantity and to refuse any order that appears to be placed by resellers or distributors.
SECTION 6 – ACCURACY OF BILLING & ACCOUNT INFORMATION
You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information and to promptly update such information so we can complete transactions and contact you as needed.
SECTION 7 – OPTIONAL TOOLS
We may provide access to third‑party tools “as‑is” without warranties and without liability for your use of those tools.
SECTION 8 – THIRD‑PARTY LINKS
Third‑party links on this site may direct you to websites not affiliated with us. We are not responsible for their content or accuracy.
SECTION 9 – USER CONTENT, PHOTOS & LICENCE GRANT
Licence: By uploading photos, names, dedications or other content (“Personalisation Assets”) you grant Brightverse a worldwide, non‑exclusive, royalty‑free licence to reproduce, adapt and print those Assets solely for creating the book and fulfilling your order.
Age‑appropriate standards: You must not submit images containing nudity, violence, hate symbols or any other content inappropriate for children. We reserve the right to reject orders that, in our sole judgment, violate this rule.
Photo retention: Child photos are deleted within 30 days after dispatch (or sooner on request.
SECTION 10 – PERSONAL INFORMATION
Your submission of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, store and delete children’s photos.
SECTION 11 – ERRORS, INACCURACIES & OMISSIONS
Occasionally there may be typographical errors or inaccuracies in product descriptions, pricing or availability. We reserve the right to correct such errors and to cancel orders if needed.
SECTION 12 – PROHIBITED USES
In addition to prohibitions elsewhere in these Terms, you are forbidden from using the site or its content to:
(a) submit unlawful or infringing material; (b) harass or discriminate; (c) upload malware; (d) collect personal information of others; (e) submit content unsuitable for children; or (f) circumvent security features. Violations may result in termination of Service.
SECTION 13 – DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES; LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Our Service is provided “as‑is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Brightverse shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service or products.
SECTION 14 – INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Brightverse, Country Bean Private Limited and their affiliates against any claim arising out of your breach of these Terms or your violation of any law or third‑party right.
SECTION 15 – SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is deemed unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will be severed and the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
SECTION 16 – TERMINATION
These Terms are effective unless terminated by either party. You may terminate by notifying us you no longer wish to use our Services. We may terminate if we believe you have violated any provision of these Terms.
SECTION 17 – ENTIRE AGREEMENT
These Terms, together with any posted policies (e.g., Privacy Policy), constitute the entire agreement between you and us and supersede prior agreements.
SECTION 18 – GOVERNING LAW
These Terms and any Services we provide are governed by the laws of India. Jurisdiction and venue lie exclusively in the courts of Kolkata, West Bengal.
SECTION 19 – CHANGES TO TERMS
We may update these Terms at our sole discretion by posting revisions on this page. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance.
